Change Division and/or Conference
Steps for changing the division and/or Conference of a team.
To change the Division and/or Conference of a team a volunteer must have the appropriate access level (coach or media level required). Players, parents, or fans do not have update access authority to make this type of change.
- from the team’s game schedule click on “Update Game Schedule”
- enter ID and password on the returned page and press the “Continue” button.
- Returned to your terminal will be a page titled “Main Menu/School Information”
- If volunteer has appropriate update access authority the page will have the option to Update Team Data
- Press the button titled “Update 05 Team Data”
- Returned will be a page titled “Team Maintenance Form” with the name of the team to update in the Argument Field
- Select the gender and press the “Find Team” button
- Returned will be a page titled “Search for Teams” with a list of teams that satisfy the search argument.
- Select the team of interest by pressing the button containing the team number to the left of your team
- Returned will be a page titled “Team Maintenance Form
- Press the button titled “Change Division or Conference”
- Returned will be a page titled “Update Team Division” with a list of divisions for your state.
- Select either a new division or the current division for your team and press the continue button
- Returned will be a page titled “Update Team Conference” with a list of conferences for your state.
- Select the desired conference and press the “Select New Conference” button
- Returned will be a page titled “Verify Division / Conference Updates” with the Division and Conference to be assigned to your team.
- To apply the changes, press the “Apply Updates” button.
- Returned will be a page titled “Division/Conference Updates have been applied” with options to return to the Main Menu or to return to the team game schedule.
